On April 16, 2014 we took Pompeii/Amalfi/Positano excursion with Sorrento Limousine Service and had most amazing experience! We are a group of 16 people, 5 families with 6 kids 10 to 17 years old, divided into two big vans. I booked this 8-hr tour on line two weeks before our cruise trip. No deposit or credit card information needed. Their website mentioned kids under 18 don’t need to buy tickets for Pompeii with valid ID. We brought passport copies and did not pay for kids’ entrance fee. We did not book a guide for Pompeii, might be wrong decision though. I will mention that later. Our tour reserved at 8:30am from Naples port. We met Tony and Lello (hope I got his name right because I was in Tony’s van) right after we stepped out of our ship. So we were able to start our tour at exactly 8:30am. Tony is very experienced and professional. I heard from my friends the other driver was also really nice. Tony discussed the itinerary of the tour with us first. We made a couple of requests and Tony accommodated all of them. We went to Amalfi first. Tony explained all those things we saw along the way. He is very knowledgeable about everything, the plants, trees, those houses belonging to which rich or famous people, etc. It was not boring at all for more than 1 hour driving. Amalfi coast is so beautiful and Amalfi town is fun to walk around. Then we headed to Positano and only stopped for pictures. I only wish we had a little more time spent on Positano. But we were able to have a relaxed lunch in a local restaurant Tony took us to. We were very happy with that restaurant. We tried different Pizza, seafood pasta, delicious and at reasonable price. Then we went to Pompeii. We don’t like guides and usually can guide our own way efficiently. But for some reason, we had a tough time finding our way in Pompeii. The map provided by the site did not clearly label the most important places we should see and we did not do enough research before we went there. Maybe hiring a guide is a better way to go or do tons of research before you go. Anyway, we still marveled at how nice a city could be two thousand years ago. Even I read about Pompeii when I was a little kid, being there to feel it is just amazing! We got back to port about 5pm, perfect time to do a little shopping and back to ship. Tony even got all of us singing together. He prepared lyrics for us to read so we can all follow. Nice touch! I left the name of song out so it can be a nice surprise for other guests. I would recommend Sorrento Limousine Service to anybody. Actually we have recommend them to some friends.

We just got done with our tour of the Amalfi Coast,Rafaell was our driver. So far this tour has been the BEST experience we have had since we have been in Italy!! The memories will last a lifetime,the pictures we were able to take will be something we look at through the years and be able to relieve the beautiful memory. I have only one thing to say,if you are coming to Italy you MUST....MUST book a tour with this company. Professional,funny and informative you will NOT be disappointed.We were even able to get a tour where olive oil,the BEST,is made and are having it shipped home. After not being able to find a tour to suit our needs on many websites, a simple Google search brought me to Sorrento Limousine. Within minutes of my request for information Tony responded offering exactly what I was looking for. On our tour, we spent the morning in Pompeii, lunch at a winery and finished off our day with an Oil Tasting. Rafaelle was a great guide! One of my favourite moments was him having all of us sing Dean Martin's "That's amore" with my family after leaving the winery. Little did he know it is one of my favourite songs! On our last night in Italy and after traveling all over for nearly 3 weeks, I asked my husband and 2 teenage kids, what the highlight of their trip was. Every one of them said that day. Tony was recommended by a friend. Having looked at the roads around Amalfi we decided on the relaxed option so that we could both enjoy the scenery without having the stress of the narrow twisting roads. We were collected from our accommodation in a comfortable Mercedes and driven expertly and with entertaining commentary along the Amalfi coast and up to Ravello. Tony stopped at all the scenic essentials, delivered us for lunch to an excellent restaurant with a stunning view, made us sing the old Dean Martin number "Amore" after lunch - the wine helped :-) and delivered us back relaxed and entertained to our villa in the evening.

My wife booked our Italian trip to the Amalfi Coast. She found on line through the great reviews this English speaking driver. Oh my gosh......Tony was the best, full of great information, wonderful Mercedes vehicle. Always on time and had wonderful suggestions of what to do and see. Fabulous picture opportunities and the list goes on. If you go to this area of Italy and you don't hire Tony....you have made a mistake. He is the best, we will be back and can't wait to see and use Tony again.

Both Raffaele and Tony made us feel welcome as soon as we met them. Their Mercedes van was clean with lots of room for our family. We spent two days with this service, one day with Raffaele and one day with Tony on our tours. At Pompeii Raffaele had a arranged a private tour guide who as luck would have was also a school teacher of history so this was a plus for our daughter who is 15 and for us. The drive on both days was relaxed and informative and their selection of restaurants was perfect. We would not hesitate if we return to use this service again, they are highly recommend by us. Very accomodating and their Mercedes Tour Van was in excellent condition! They even picked us up from the train station in Naples to take us to our Sorrento Hotel and then drove us back to Naples several days later for our return. Tony and his Dad, Raffaele are from Sorrento originally so are very knowledgable of the region and were able to give us history on multiple aspects of the area. Tony also gave us great information on how to make our way to the Marina so we could take a ferry to the Island of Capri during our stay. In addition, their restaurant recommendations were excellent. On our tour of Amalfi coast, Rafaelle did a fabulous job of pointing out several highlights and even stopping at picturesque spots along the way to capture photos for us of our family! The lunch spot he selected in Ravello was delicious. They knew we were interested in Pompei and so suggested a drive over the mountains from Ravello. They even arranged an amazing tour guide, Paola, to personally take us through the ruins. It was money well spent! Finally, prior the return to Sorrento, Raffaele took us for a tour of the Gargiulo olive oil factory that included a tasting of their various oils. It was very informative and the oils were delicious! It was a great ending to a day of seeing excellent sights! We did not have multiple days to leisurely enjoy all of the area so with their direction I feel like we were able to see some of the most incredible sights and all in about 2 days. I guarantee you will not go wrong if you choose Sorrento Limousine for any tour or service that they offer. If we can ever make our way back we will certainly use their services again!!

We took a half-day tour from Sorrento to Positano with Tony as our guide. Car was clean and spacious, and comfortably fits the four of us, a baby and his pushchair. Tony was evidently very experienced in his line of work, providing informative details along the way and thoughtfully stopped/ slowed down at several scenic locations along the drive to allow us to take amazing photos. Upon arriving at the beautiful Positano, we were given about an hour to wander around before heading back to Sorrento. Overall, a truly fantastic excursion.

This private tour with Tony is a very pleasant experience. We had a big family (2 kids, 2 olds) and everyone of us enjoyed the tour. Tony is a very good driver and definetely knows where to stop to show us the best view. He also took us to a olive oil tasting trip which we really enjoyed. I would highly recommend Tony.

On Friday 20th December,2013 my family had the pleasure of spending a day on the Amalfi Coast with Raffaele from Sorrento Limousine Service. We had the most wonderful time full of wonderful views, expert driving, wonderful information and history of this beautiful part of the world and a beautiful lunch to finish our day. From the first email I sent to Tony to enquire about our day trip, in which he responded immediately, to when we were picked from our hotel by Raffaele, everything was handled so professionally and it was a definite highlight of our month long trip to Italy. All my emails to Tony were answered quickly, answering all my questions and the bookong of this day was so easily organised. Raffaele picked us up on time from our hotel and took us on the most wonderful drive stopping in Positano, then onto Amalfi and then finally to Ravello. He stopped at various spots along the way giving us time to capture some great photos and told us many interesting facts about this beautiful coastline. Lunch was in Ravello at a restaurant recommended by Raffaele and it rates as one of our favourite meals that we had on our trip through Italy. This was a truly wonderful day organised by a wonderful, efficient and professional company who made our time in Sorrento and the Amalfi coast a time we will always remember!!! Tony was like a 7th member of the family. He met 6 of us from the airport and took us back the hotel. Despite only being in Sorrento for 3 days he took us on a tour of Pompeii ( where he arranged an excellent guide) and also sorted lunch at a vineyard with wine tasting and a an olive oil tour with tastings on the way home. The next day we took a trip for a few hours to Positano along the beautiful Amalfi coast road. He understands what tourists want and constantly offered history and facts of the area with lots of photo stops. His Mercedes van was also very refined and comfortable with lots of space and leather seats. I can't recommend enough
