While visions of ciambellini,Napoli pizza,and Italian vino are still dancing in our jet-lagged heads, we've had time to wistfully reflect on our magical trip to Italy...What truly made the trip so memorable was the extraordinary people that we encountered along the way, in particular, Vincenzo of Sorrento Limosine Service. From the moment we were whisked away in royal style from Fiumicino airport in Rome, we felt confident in Vincenzo. We used him as our driver on 3 separate occasions, from Rome to Sorrento, Sorrento to the Amalfi coast, Positano and Ravello, and again from Sorrento to Naples. On each occasion, we were impressed with Vincenzo's promptness, courtesy and respect, and safe, but quick driving which was quite evident as he maneuvered with ease over the winding, narrow roads of the Amalfi Coast. Vincenzo was charming, humorous and entertaining with delightful stories to tell enhanced by his thorough knowledge of the history and culture of Southern Italy. He made several recommendations along the way, all of which proved to be very helpful. In all, Vincenzo made our experience in Southern Italy better than we could have dreamed and would highly recommend him for any one wanting to have an exceptional get away to Southern Italy.

We hired SLS to transfer from Naples to Sorrento with a trip to Pompeii. Tony was at the train station to meet us. He introduced us to the Sorrento Penninsula on our way. He organized a private guide for Pompeii and Leena did an excellent job. Raffaele also drove us through the Amalfi Coast with stops in Ravello and a delightful lunch in Positanto. Sightseeing and descriptions of the area was excellent. Tony drove us back to Naples later in the week, again with excellent descriptions of the area. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with both Tony and Raffaele. They are very professional, excellent drivers with a weath of local knowledge. We will certainly hire them next time in the area. Our recent trip to the Amalfi Coast was a dream come true. We met Ciro and Lello at the train station in Naples and they were so friendly. We all had an immediate connection. They strongly encouraged us to hire a guide for Pompeii and we were so glad we did. In addition to taking us to Pompeii straight from the train station, we had scheduled a tour of Amalfi, Positano and Ravello. Had them pick us (8 people) up at Naples airport on Wednesday; tour Amolfi Coast and Pompeii on Saturday and return us to Naples train station on Sunday. Can't say enough about the great time we had with these guys. They even sang Italian songs to us in the bus!! I would recommend them to anyone coming to this area. Hello! We used Sorrento Limousine for our transfer to or wedding in Positano on the 1st August 2013. Where do I begin to tell you how amazing our trip was. Raffaele was our driver (he owns the company with his son Tony) and he made our journey so special! He made us feel so welcome and stopped a few times on our journey to point out lovely scenery for photos, tell us some history and point out landmarks of interest. He also played Italian songs for us all and joined us in a sing along. He was funny and went all out to make us feel happy. He even stopped so we could get a picture behind a local fruit stall, which looks great in our wedding album! Thank you soooo much Raffaele you were fantastic. We were a group of 6 and the car was excellent, as it is very hot air conditioning always helps! The price for us to go from Meta to Positano and then from Positano back to Sorrento for our meal was very very reasonable and considering the fantastic atmosphere, tour and photo stops! We defiantly recommend Sorrento Limousine to anyone getting married in the region as it will leave you with fantastic memories forever.

My mom and I were visiting Italy for the first time this July and our trip was absolutely amazing. We used Sorrento Limousine's services multiple times throughout the course of our vacation. They were actually the only company we used for touring and transportation during our stay in Sorrento. Not only was having one company to book trips with convenient, but this company is fantastic! They are very reliable, professional, and tried their best to be as helpful as they could. The two drivers, Tony and Lello, who worked with us were very informative and very friendly. They were pleasant and warm to be around and made our stay as pleasant as possible. The car rides were full of laughter, entertainment, and many stories. They did everything in their power to make sure that we were comfortable, safe, and enjoying our visit in Italy. Lello met us at the train station in Naples to take us to Sorrento and spent the ride informing us of the area and making us feel comfortable. He was very funny and full of interesting stories. He kept the drive interesting and filled with conversations. Just the drive from the train station to our hotel with him made me fall in love with Italy even more. Before he dropped us off at our hotel, he showed us the main square near our hotel and how to get there, which was very useful. We spent an entire day touring through the Amalfi Coast with Tony who made sure to show us the most important highlights in the short time we had. He didn't hesitate to stop for pictures and showed us an amazing restaurant for lunch that day. The food was absolutely delicious and the atmosphere was very homey so his recommendation was very much appreciated. He also made sure that we enjoyed the drive itself throughout the whole day. I'm normally very impatient and can't handle car rides for long periods of time but this trip did not have a single dull moment. He kept every part of it interesting and told us a lot about the country in general. After our first two successful trips with this company, we ended up booking another tour for olive oil tasting and a winery last minute. This ended up being another successful trip with Lello. Yet again, our trip was full of laughter, jokes, and interesting stories. He shared stories with us about himself and the Italian culture. To me, this was interesting because I am planning to study abroad in Italy next summer and I could use all the information I can get. The olive oil tasting was amazing and the winery was also an incredible experience. Both were hosted by very kind owners and my mom and I decided to go back home with some of their products. On our way to the airport at the end of the trip, Lello stopped at a post office to help us ship certain things back to the United States without having to carry them on the plane with us. His generosity and his help were greatly appreciated. Tony also recommended that we try dinner at Ristorante Bagni Delfino one night and arranged transportation for us. Our dining experience was fantastic and the view was gorgeous. Our experience with this company, overall, was absolutely amazing. They made the trip fun, interesting, and memorable. My mom and I are intending on having another trip back here and we know for a fact that we will be using this company again next time!

I would need a book to describe what was the best touring I've ever done. My group of 6 hired Sorrento so we could book several cities with the same company for cruise ship excursions. They delivered on exactly what was promised and then some. Claudio in Florence/Pisa, Maurizio in Rome, and Vincenzo in Positano/Amalfi Coast were the best!! I seriously cannot say enough about all the wonderful things they did to ensure it was a vacation we'd never forget. From Vincenzo buying my Mom a pair of sandals when hers broke in Pompeii to Claudio making a side trip through the countryside to find us a winery, these guys were the best. It was so nice knowing that everything was taken care of. Completely stress free, which allowed us to just enjoy the ride, which is very nice in a Mercedes van. They also made sure my Dad was always okay, as he has some mobility issues. I could not be more glad that I didn't book some cramped cruise tour with 40 other people and went with Sorrento. When you only have 8 hours to spend in each city, this is the way to go!! You will get your money's worth and then some, I promise. And word to the wise, spend the extra money and get guides for the Vatican and Pompeii. They're just way too big to do on your own.

My family of four (2 college kids) enjoyed a fantastic trip to the Amalfi Coast in June. I was so lucky to find Sorrento Limousine Service (sorrentolimousineservice.com) through tripadvisor. They were fantastic! We used them on four different occasions. It was so convenient to have one point of contact for all of our travel. You MUST use them! They were reliable (always early so we didn’t worry), safe (the roads can be scary), informative (telling us about the area), friendly (as nice as could be), and used comfortable Mercedes vans (great A/C with water bottles for us). We used the service to pick us up at the Naples airport (after a long flight from the U.S.) to take us to our hotel in Sorrento where we stayed for 5 nights. Lello was our driver. He was so funny and friendly. He made us love Italy immediately! He stopped and took pictures of us at some great spots that he knew about along the coast. He also shared a lot about the Italian culture with us. We enjoyed his company on our last day as he drove us back to the train station in Naples after our 5 days in Sorrento. Tony took us on our day tour of Herculaneum, Mt. Vesuvius winery, Pompeii, and the olive oil tasting. It was a full day, but we loved every minute. We started out with the Herculaneum ruins which were so interesting. They are very well preserved. It isn’t a huge place, which keeps it from being overwhelming. I highly recommend them. Our next stop was a winery at the base of Mt. Vesuvius that Tony took us to. It was excellent (we will be ordering some online from home)! We had the place to ourselves, which was fabulous. It is so nice not to be mixed in with huge tour buses. We enjoyed great wine and a great meal in a beautiful environment. Next we went to Pompeii. Tony arranged for a guide for us there which was helpful as it is a huge place. It was very interesting. Our last stop along the way was at a factory that makes olive oil. The owner was so nice. She showed us the process and gave us a tasting. We ended up ordering some olive oil to send home. Our whole day was magnificent. One of my favorite moments was singing using the song sheets and music Tony provided. We sang “It’s Amore” – even getting the teenagers to sing!! What great family memories we shared on that day! A couple of days later, Vincenzo escorted us along the Amalfi coast. He too was great! His English is phenomenal and he is very cosmopolitan. He shared a lot of information and took us to the prettiest places. He also knew of the best spots for photos so we were able to get some nice family pictures. We visited Amalfi, Positano, and Ravello. Each place had it’s own character and was worth stopping to visit. The great thing about having a driver is that you don’t have to worry about a thing – where to drive, where to park, where to eat, anything! The lunch place he chose for us was perfect. My personal favorite place was Ravello. There was a pretty church and beautiful ceramics (my family groaned, but I was in Heaven!). The whole day was fantastic. The Amalfi coast is windy and can be dangerous, but I was very impressed with how cautious Vincenzo drove. I highly recommend this tour. If you are considering a trip to the Amalfi coast, all you have to do is book a hotel in Sorrento and contact Tony at info@sorrentolimousineservice.com. It is so easy! He took care of everything! The only other thing we added was a day boat tour of Capri and one day to browse around Sorrento on our own. Otherwise, Tony took care of everything else giving us a family trip to remember!

We used Sorrento Limousine's professional services for return transfers between Naples train station and Sorrento as well as a side trip to Pompeii. Lello picked us up from the station after I had decided the local train service to Sorrento was not for us considering we had heavy suitcases and the connection times were going to have us wasting time on our precious 3 day stay in Sorrento. In that time instead we toured Pompeii on the way. Our private tour was arranged with Lina, who was wonderful. We thank Lello for his tip of a great restaurant to visit in Sorrento - we went there twice. Giancarlo returned us safely back to Naples station 3 days later - the pick up time of 6.45 was not a problem. All lovely people. Prompt, efficient service. Tony is great with quick response to emails. Hopefully we will return next year and would have no hesitation in using their service again.

We absolutely loved everything about our day around Naples. Our driver, Lello was a real pleasure and treated us like royalty! We took a private tour, visiting Pompei, Sorrento and Positano. He arrived promptly in a comfortable van and kept us entertained throughout the 9 hour day with stories, information and songs. We immediately felt comfortable and safe with him, as he drove very slowly and carefully around the many corners of this busy road.
