My husband and I booked this tour based on other reviews and they did not let us down. It was a fantastic tour from start to finish. Lello was our guide and he was awesome!!! He picked us up from our hotel right on time. We started in Sorrento and visited Positano, Amalfi and Ravello. He was very knowledgeable, fun, a great photographer and just made for a great experience. I would recommend this tour to anyone wanting to visit the Amalfi Coast. Thanks Lello!! The trip was great, Wade and Michelle

We used the transfer service as we were travelling as a family and had suitcases that I didn't wish to cart on public transport. Raffele was prompt, on time and his son Tony updated me about his arrival via SMS at the airport. The return was also trouble free. Enroute Raffele regaled us with Dean Martin's That's Amore and chatted with us about the many sights and places to see near Sorrento - Pompeii Herculaneum, Amalfi coast, etc. We didn't avail of the service to Amalfi as it was a quiet time and the SITA buses were not crowded, but I can imagine it will be a good idea in summer.

We decided to just have a run out to a local mountain with the family. We were taken on a really interesting route, ending with a coffee break. Nothing was too much trouble. Raffaele, our driver, gave us lots on information about the area. His English is excellent! The taxi is very comfortable and seats 6 or 7.

Sorrento Limousine Service was recommended by friends of friends. Communicating with Tony via e-mail to make arrangements was very efficient. He replied promptly to questions and provided quotes when requested. On the day our ship docked, the driver, Lello, was there to greet us. He spoke good English and was very friendly. He took us to Pompeii and arranged for an excellent guide to take us through the ruins. He then drove us to Sorrento and took us to a charming restaurant for lunch and then let us walk around the town centre before returning us to the ship. A very pleasant and relaxing day without the pressures of deadlines. Would recommend the service and would use it again if the opportunity arises

I am very late to write this review but my husband and I traveled to Italy for our honeymoon back in September. We took the train from Rome to Naples and needed a transfer to our hotel in Sorrento. After reading numerous reviews on TripAdvisor we decided to book Sorrento Limousine Service and tony came to pick us up. He was the nicest man ever! He was there on time waiting for us and helped put our bags in the car. On the 45 minute drive to Sorrento tony gave us a narration of everything we were passing as if we had hired him to give a private tour! I couldn't recommend tony and Sorrento Limousine Service enough. You won't be disappointed!

Our family of 4 can't praise Tony & Lello highly enough - their service is excellent and you know you can trust them 100% in every way. They're so efficiently on time and it's just pure pleasure travelling with them in the comfort of their spacious and wonderful people mover vehicle and listening to all they have to say. It's like a mini-tour just having the drive from Naples to Sorrento (see so much more than from the local train and the scenery and trip itself are so much more pleasant - worth every Euro) with the friendliest of drivers. Tony told us of the Red Lion restaurant in Sorrento that the locals use as well and it was so excellent we went back a second time - it was as good as he said it would be. Lello felt like an old friend by the end of our return trip and gave us so much information about the whole area and Italy itself, our only regret was that we hadn't known about his families shop in the main street of Sorrento which sounded just amazing - next time we're going there as well!!! We would definitely book this service again without hesitation and very highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for an alternate way to travel from Naples to Sorrento. Thanks Tony & Lello.

I found this company on trip advisor, and after lots of research I decided this was the perfect company for us! The very first email I sent was responded to immediately by Tony, and all of our communication was fast and easy. Raaffaele picked us up right outside the cruise terminal just like I was told. He was so fun and knowledgeable about all areas we went. He arranged a last minute olive oil tasting, which was one of our highlights! We always felt safe while driving on the curvy roads too. We went to lunch at a nice little place in Sorrento, which was not too expensive. We had plenty of time to explore each town on our own, and made plenty of photo op stops along the drive. This tour was exactly what we were looking for- something unique and different. My correspondence with Tony was so great that I asked about recommendations for a unique tour outside of Rome. Tony set us up with a colleague for that tour, which was also just perfect for what we were looking for! I will definitely be using Sorrento Limousine Service again!!

Booking a tour with Sorrento Limousine Service via email prior to traveling to Italy was extremely easy. Tony was very prompt in responding to my emails and answering all of my questions. The scheduled date for the tour (November 20) turned out to be a rainy day, and Tony was very accommodating in allowing us to postpone until the next day, which I realize may not have been possible during high season. Our driver/ tour guide Raffaele (Tony's father) arrived promptly at our hotel, and a truly fun and wonderful day began. He shared many interesting facts about the area, and pointed out many things to us that we would certainly have missed otherwise. We spent time wandering around Positano, Amalfi, and Ravello; made a few stops enroute, including a number of scenic points, a ceramics store, and an olive oil manufacturer; and had lunch at an absolutely wonderful restaurant in Ravello. Raffaele was incredibly friendly, entertaining, and funny, even singing "That's Amore" as we cruised through one of the towns. My husband, daughter, and I enjoyed our tour and time with Raffaele so much that we arranged for him to provide transfer service from Sorrento to the Naples train station the next morning. It was my birthday, so enroute to the train, Raffaele led my family in singing Happy Birthday. At the train station, he helped take all of our luggage into the station, and ensured that we were fine before he left. By the time we left, we felt we had a new friend in Italy

My husband and I recently visited the Amalfi Coast and booked the Sorrento Limousine Service for a day trip. We have been travelling through Europe for about 5 weeks and this was certainly one of our highlights. Our driver Tony was fabulous; he was friendly and amiable and his local knowledge was extensive: with many funny anecdotes to highlight the tour conversation. Nothing was rushed and at no time did we feel pressured into doing something or being somewhere. The lunch at Ravello was lovely; I highly recommend the Bean Soup!! and on our way home Tony took us to visit a local olive grower and we were able to have a private tasting of her beautiful oils: The Amalfi Coast is truly magnificent and must been seen with someone who is experienced in negotiating the roads, traffic and parking. We cannot recommend this service highly enough

Tony provided us with a splendid tour of the Amalfi coast. He is very knowledgable, enthusiastic and cooperative. We could focus on the sights because of his cautious driving. We enjoyed a very entertaining and informative tour with no hassles. -HarryT

We were on a 24 day Mediterranean cruise but pre-booked Sorrento Limousine Service for a full day tour before leaving from home. We have to say everything was handled in a prompt, friendly and efficient manner leaving us feeling confident that this would be a day well spent. Our guide (not just a driver!) Lello picked us up (3 couples) from the port in Naples for a full day tour of the Amalfi Coast - taking in Sorrento, Positano, Amalfi and Ravello. Best day spent out of 24 memorable days! Lello was very personable, very charming and knowledgeable. He made sure that we took in all that this beautiful region has to offer. The unbelievable sights, the wonderful people, the atmosphere, the regional food and importantly - the home made limoncello (thanks for sharing your mother's recipe Lello). Lunch was memorable - great food looking out over a magnificent view and all coming with friendly service. The trip back to the port was full of fun with our efforts to out-do Dean Martin singing the Italian classics and ending with a happy but emotional farewell to our new friend Lello. This day trip was far, far better value than taking a day trip organized by the cruise line. More intimate, much friendlier, more relaxed, more comfortable and conducted with pride and professionalism by our guide. We would highly recommend Sorrento Limousine Service (and Lello!!!) to anyone. Chris & Helen - Adelaide, Australia

We were on our way ? heading south from Naples along the coast toward Sorrento, our destination for the week. Our amicable driver, Rafael Iaccarino had arrived promptly to pick up my husband and I and our three daughters at our hotel. As we drove out of the City he immediately began to politely point out sites of interest and provide bits of history. Rafael had come highly recommended from friends who travel frequently to his ?territory?. We quickly found out how lucky we were to make Rafael?s acquaintance. Our first stop along the way was Pompeii where Rafael had arranged a professional guide for us. Having used a guide on numerous occasions, we realized that Paula was clearly most exceptional! She was quite knowledgeable, a wonderful story teller and kept us moving at a nice pace for three hours. Our daughters later named the stop as one of the highlights of our trip. Next was lunch at a nearby winery on the slopes of Mt. Vesuvius, also arranged by Rafael. Cantina del Vesuvius is owned by the Russo family and we were treated like family. After a walk in the vineyard with a glass of sparkling wine, we sat down to a lunch wine tasting that was spectacular. And we were able to buy some wine, olive oil and grappa to ship home. As we boarded our immaculate Mercedes van we were grateful for its size and lush comfort as a few heads were beginning to nod in a post prandial nap. The snoozes were short lived as Rafael announced he had something for us and introduced his playlist of Italian street and pop culture songs. Soon everyone was singing along with Rafael to tunes that I had grown up with by Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, Connie Francis and others. As we made our way past the Latte Mountains (where the freshest mozzarella, served at every meal, is produced), we stopped to see the fabulous coastal views and taste the most delicious lemon ice. As we continued our journey into Sorrento, Rafael deposited us safely at our hotel, but not before recommending some of the best restaurants, artisans and attractions (after all this was his home town). Thank goodness our sojourning with Rafael was not over. He connected us with a friend who served as a wonderful guide on Capri for a day (we went by Ferry). The next day, Rafael took us an all day tour of the Amalfi Coast. It was another warm sunny day with robin?s egg blue skies (not that Rafael had any control over that, but his friendly demeanor and ready smile certainly enhanced the setting!). We had already had breakfast, but he insisted we stop at a small bakery that ?made the best Sfogliatelle in the world?. Who could resist? My father?s family was from Southern Italy and it happens to be his favorite pastry. I grew up eating the crunchy shell shaped pastry with crumbly cheesy like filling from Neapolitan bakeries all over NYC. Sorry Dad, but the real deal is in a tiny pastry shop called Fiorintino, on the hill top between Sorrento and Positano. Sinking your teeth into a perfectly crunchy (but not chewy) shell that melted in your mouth and was filled with the smoothest ooziest custard cream we have ever tasted (along with a cup of the best expresso of the trip). We thought we had gone to heaven! That certainly set the right tone for the rest of the day. Along the roads we would stop for ?little tastes? and glimpses of the region with fabulous views accompanied by strains of Pavorotti, Carnisi and Bocelli. Again Rafael catered to our interests, whims and desires. First of which was food. After a nice walk through the town of Positano, we ate lunch in Ravella at a restaurant full of character and where my craving for fresh anchovies was spectacularly fulfilled (funny no one else wanted any). The pasta was freshly made and to die for. During the trip Rafael steered us to a wonderful pottery factory, a road side limoncello merchant and a hotel he thought was the best in the area (we were already planning our next trip). We had plenty of time to wander at each stop (which equates to ?shop? for us women) always providing interesting bits of local lore and history. Our last stop was at the Emerald Grotto outside of Amalfi (which more than made up for not being able to visit the Blue Grotto on Capri the day we visited) Our final encounter with this wonderful service was a ride to the Naples airport courtesy of Rafael?s son Anthony who was every bit as polite, charming and professional as his father. If we are lucky enough to return to Sorrento, it will be Rafael we call to drive (and sing) with!

My husband and I had time for a short stay in Sprrento. We contacted Tony before we left and were confirmed for an all day tour. We were thrilled. Raffaele was our guide: knowledgeable, fun and professional. He made the winding roads alive with excitement and gave us time and space to wander and enjoy. He added a great restaurant for lunch where we received VIP service and lots of extras. The day was wonderful and made the trip. Sorrento Limousine service is the only way to go. Count on Tony to make it wonderful!

We (4 passengers) used Sorrento Limousine Service from our hotel in Sorrento to Naples Airport. The van was very clean and comfortable and our driver (and one of the owners), Tony, was prompt and extremely professional! He even provided us with a commentary on the way to the airport. Next time we visit Sorrento, we will use his tour services in addition to the airport transfer. What a personable and knowledgeable guy! We highly recommend Tony and Sorrento Limousines!

We recently engaged Tony and Sorrento Limousine Service to drive us along the Amalfi Coast. What a find he was and what a day we had. Our group of six spent two weeks touring Italy; our day with Tony was the highlight of a trip with many wonderful experiences. We thought we were hiring just a driver. What we got was a knowledgeable tour guide with a great personality and sense of humor interested in sharing his knowledge and making our day more than just a sightseeing experience. By the end of the day we all felt that Tony had been a friend of ours for a long time. If you are looking for private transportation in the Sorrento area, I highly recommend The unparalleled service and friendliness you will receive from Tony and Sorrento Limousines.
